Snyder vs King

There is a method to what you write and when it needs to happen. Both Snyder and King have designed a ‘blueprint’ that can help aspiring screenwriters. Blake Snyder calls it the Beat Sheet (Snyder, 2005), and Viki King has created the Inner Movie Method (King, 2005). I decided to place the two methods side-by-side to see how they compare. I will also be analysing movies as Blake did in his book, Save the Cat! goes to the Movies. So, stay tuned for the new Beat Analysis posts.
